Jessica Rabbit, finished. Well, mostly. I think I might open the slit a little higher, it doesn't look quite right here.

Funny note: I've done mostly historical costumes all my life--so this is the first time I've done a dress with a zipper!

I have two dresses that are almost done, but need hemming.

One is the 1950s swing dress, which I'd like to wear this weekend to the dance at the GA Tech ballroom. Now that the belt and crinoline are done, I can see how it will hang--and it's not pretty. It not only needs hemming, but levelling--somehow the front and back are longer than the ( Read more... )
